Boudoir FAQ's

Do I have to get naked?

Absolutely not. Boudoir photography is all about you and what you're comfortable with.

If you want to get naked then go right ahead but a lot of women worry that they don't want to be too revealing in a shoot. That is absolutely fine. Sometimes the strongest and sexiest portraits are the ones with you just owning it in front of the camera in an off the shoulder jumper and some underwear.

There are no set rules in boudoir. This is your experience and I want you to enjoy it so I will make sure that we discuss what you want from it prior to the shoot to make sure you leave feeling empowered and excited to see your photos once edited, whether those photos be completely naked or covered up!

Where will we shoot?

There are a whole host of options for locations to shoot at. If you would feel more comfortable shooting from home then we can do that. But if this isn't an option, I have worked with a couple of great studios we can hire for your shoot as well as hotels and Airbnbs. The preferred location can cause variations in the price of the shoot but this will all be discussed in details before anything is booked.

Do you offer event boudoir shoots for Hen Parties?

I would absolutely love to shoot a boudoir event. The biggest factor here would be location so Airbnbs are usually the best option for this. I have contacted Airbnbs in the past to confirm whether this is something they would be happy to host and more often than not, it is not a problem. If this is something you are interested in, please send me a message and we can discuss further.

Wedding FAQ's

Do you shoot destination weddings?

One of my biggest passions in life is travel so I would absolutely love to photograph your destination wedding. Contact me for further information and a bespoke quote.

Will there be a second shooter?

Second shooters can be added at an additional cost of £200 (recommended for full day coverage for weddings with 100+ guests)

Can I extend the session on the day?

If you've booked full day wedding coverage then this isn't necessary but if you've booked me to shoot an elopement, shorter wedding day, or any portrait or commercial shoot, then I will have booked you out in my calendar for the entire day so additional hours can be added if required.

Do I have to order prints through you?

Your booking will provide you with full printing rights meaning you can print any photo yourself. Alternatively, you can order quality prints through your online gallery at an additional cost.

Do you charge for travel?

Anything within a 100 mile radius of Chester will include travel. Anything further afield may incur additional charges to cover the extra cost getting to you. If you're not sure, then just drop me a message and we can chat further.

Do you do group shots / formals?

In a nutshell, yes. However, I do advise with complete respect to you and your family that these be limited to a maximum of 5 group shots. This is to ensure that more time can be allocated for me to capture your day as it happens naturally. It also means less standing around time for you and your guests and more quality time for you all to share!
